Spencer and Kameron

Being a photographer from Colorado, this Hawaii photography session was definitely one for the books. Especially since Spencer and I have a friendship that goes back to our freshman year of college in the dorms. Living across the hallway from each other, there are many memories of late night study sessions, having no clue what to major in, and LOTS of dining hall food.

Once Spencer moved back to her home state of Hawaii, thanks to the powers of social media we never lost touch. So, when my husband and I planned to visit some of the Hawaiin islands in October of 2021, I was so happy to have the chance to get to see an old friend again. Bonus, we were able to coordinate a stunning Hawaii photography session for her and her fiancé.

This oceanside session took place on the island of Oahu. It started with warm golden hour light and slowly settled into a beautiful blue hour. This session captured the essence of playful love and was accompanied with lots of laughter, sand in-between the toes, and calming walks along the water’s edge.

Spencer and Kameron brought their adorable rescue dog, Luna. She definitely added a ton of laughter and personality to this already light-hearted and fun session!
